Carol was a caring person. She requested and accepted her father-in-law, Charles Hayes, into her home in his last years. She opened her home and her heart to so many people. She will be missed.

Carol responded to her diagnosis with a renewed appreciation of life. I will always remember her blue wig and her fancy cane and the googlie eyes glued to her shoes. She made wearing hats an art form. Her enthusiastic embrace of her faith, her a.a program and her friendships were testimony to her appreciation of life. It was contagious. I loved spending time with Carol and will sorely miss her outstanding sense of humor.
