Carmen Lamberty

Carmen Lamberty, longtime resident of Ellenville,  passed away on August 2, 2014 at Orange Regional Medical Center. She was 81.

She was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico to Philipe Orsini and Rosario Alvarado. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all that knew and loved her; she will be deeply missed.

Mrs. Lamberty is survived by her daughters: Isabel Lamberty of Ellenville, Maria Arango of Florida, Carmen Oquendo of Puerto Rico and Annajane Rodriguez of Napanoch, NY; her brother, David Melendez of Ellenvile; sisters: Irma Robles, Chritina Martinez, Louisa Martinez, Maria Morales and Anadel Lara.

Carmen was predeceased by her devoted husband, Deacon Angel. L. Lambery Sr., and son, SFC Angel L. Lamberty Jr.

There will be no visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, August 5th at St Mary's and St. Andrew's Catholic Church, 137 S. Main St., Ellenville. Interment will follow at Fantankill Cemetery.
