Charles Richard

Charles Edward Richard passed away peaceful early Wednesday morning Oct 22 2025 at Ellis hospital in Schenectady. An Ellenville resident his whole life until 2022 after he was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and was brought to his son Brian’s residence to be cared for. Charlie enjoyed music his whole life, and had an extensive record collection.

He is survived by his older brother Francis Richard Jr of North Carolina, his son Brian Richard, his wife and 5 grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents Francis and Lillian Richard, and his loving wife Lisa Richard (Peckham). Whom he will be buried beside in Grahamsville rural cemetery on Monday, October 27, 2025 at 2pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American cancer society.
