Clark "Bob" Jones

Clark Jones, of Ellenville, NY, passed away on October 22, 2021. He was 60 years old. Clark, fondly called “Bob” by his family and friends was born on April 20, 1961 in Harlem Hospital; he was the son of Marjorie (Burnside) Jones and the late Robert Jones.

Bob graduated from DeWitt Clinton High School and furthered his education at Ulster BOCES where he earned a Certificate as a Personal Care Aide. Bob worked many jobs throughout his lifetime including Security Guard, Cab Driver for C&J Taxi, Maintenance at the Shawangunk Camp and the Ellenville School District and most recently a Home Care Attendant for Samaritan Daytop Village and Committed Home Care. He took great pride in his Toyota Prius, he enjoyed gambling and watching movies. Bob had a great sense of humor and loved making people laugh and telling jokes. He was a loving son, father, brother, uncle and friend and will deeply missed.

In addition to his mother, Marjorie, Bob is survived by his fiancé Latoya Drayton; his children, Melinda Gambrell and her husband Shyliek, Tyrese Jones, Earl Gambrell, Calvin Jones and Eric Jones; sisters, Annette Steele and Tanya Jones; brother, Tyrone Jones; 11 grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Visiting will be held on Saturday, October 30th from 12:00 to 2:00 pm with a celebration of his life starting at 2:00 pm at Loucks Funeral Home, Ellenville. Cremation will be private
