Constance "Connee" Pivin

Constance "Connee" Pivin, of Greenfield Park, passed away on March 30, 2016 at home. She was 87.

She was the daughter of the late Austin Brown, born on January 10, 1929 in Ellenville, NY.

Connee worked at Ellenville Community Hospital for almost 40 years. In her free time she enjoyed watching birds.

She is survived by her daughters Christine LaBarr and her husband Robert of Yeagerville, and Cindy Osborne of Greenfield Park; her son Jimmy Pivin and his wife Barbie of Florida; her beloved grandson Kristopher Pivin and his wife Elizabeth of Troy; her sister Adele Henderson of Yeagerville; her nieces and nephews; her best friend Fran Smith of Kerhonkson; and her canine companion Luna and her 6 kitties. She was predeceased by her loving and devoted husband John and her son John.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Connee's name can be made to Ellenville First Aid Squad, 1 Webster St. Ellenville, NY 12428; Lockwood Animal Rescue Center 15660 Curtis Trl, Frazier Park, CA 93225 or to another animal rescue of one's choice.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 11am at Fantinekill Cemetery, Route 209, Ellenville, NY. Rev. Michael Sparrow officiating.
