Curt L. Jager

Curt L. Jager, of Napanoch, NY passed away on August 27, 2023, at Achieve Nursing and Rehab in Liberty, NY. Born on May 31, 1947, in Hackensack, NJ to the late Ludwig Jager and Dorothy (Keeton) Jager. 

Curt's professional journey was one marked by dedication and skill. He worked as a Mechanic for many years, honing his expertise in the intricate workings of automobiles. Later in life, he became a Snap On Tool Dealer, sharing his knowledge and providing top-quality tools to fellow mechanics. More recently, Curt found joy as a Driver Education Instructor, imparting valuable lessons to new drivers. 

Beyond his professional endeavors, Curt's patriotism led him to serve in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He bravely fought for his country and was honorably discharged in 1968. His courage and selflessness will forever be remembered.

Aside from his career and military service, Curt had varied interests that enriched his life. His passion for collecting clocks brought him great joy as he meticulously sought out unique timepieces with intricate designs. Additionally, Curt was an active member of the Catskill Exotic Bird Club where he cultivated friendships with fellow avian enthusiasts who shared his love for these beautiful creatures.

Curt leaves behind his wife Adele Jager, their daughter, Crystal Jager-Caban and her husband Michael Caban; granddaughters, Winnie and Calista Caban.
