Doris Mason

December 7, 1925 — August 1, 2015

Doris Mason lifelong resident of Napanoch passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at home surrounded by her family. She was 89.

        She was the daughter of the late Herman and Bessie Schwartz Ratner, born on December 7, 1925 in New York, NY.

        Doris was a bookkeeper for several local businesses in the area for many years until she retired in 1992. On her free time she enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She was a member of St. Marks Church in Napanoch. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, whom will sorely be missed.

        She leaves behind to cherish her memory her devoted husband of 68-years Knowlton Mason Jr., her grandchildren Amber Marshall Campbell and husband Cary Campbell, William Mason and his wife Maria Mason, Samantha Mason, and Roxanne Mason, her great grandchildren Conner Campbell, Emily Campbell, Penelope Yves-Mason, her sister Maxine Lake, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her children Catherine Mason Marshall, Howard J. Mason, daughter-in-law Kathleen Molloy Mason, and her brother Charles Ratner.

        Visitation will be Today, August 4, 2015 at Loucks Funeral Home, 79 North Main Street, Ellenville, NY 12428 from 2-4:00pm and 7-9:00pm. A funeral service will be on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at the funeral home at 11:00am. Rev. Peggy Ann Sauerhoff will officiate.
