Duane A. Brackman

    Duane A. Brackman of Wurtsboro passed away on Thursday, May 10, 2012       at Orange Regional Medical Center. He was 67.

He was the son of the late Ernest and Frances VanWagner Brackman born on October 14, 1944 in Kingston, NY.

For many years he was and administrator at New Horizons. Duane was an avid Yankee fan who on his free time coached Ellenville Little League. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather that will be sorely missed by all that knew and loved him.

He is survived by his devoted wife who he married July 26, 1975, Mary A. Brackman; his children, Drew Brackman of Middletown, and Tiffany Brackman of Summitville: his granddaughter, DeAngela Brackman; his siblings: Dolores Saver of Ellenville, Deborah Lambert and her husband, Jack of Napanoch, David Brackman of North Carolina, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by one brother, Dale Brackman and one sister, Beverly Brackman.

Visitation will be on Monday, May 14 at Loucks Funeral Home, 79 North Main St., Ellenville, NY12428 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. A funeral service will being at 1 p.m. at the funeral home, Rev. Eileen Daunt will officiate. Interment will follow at the GrahamsvilleRuralCemetery, Grahamsville, NY.
