Eleanor Mabel Hull

March 22, 1926 — April 1, 2015

Eleanor Mabel Hull, 89, of Ellenville passed away at home on April 1, 2015.  She will be dearly missed. Eleanor was born on March 22, 1926 to Anna Mehl and Julius Haener in Lake Mahopac, NY.

She was a true home maker. Making sure her husband, John Hull, and children were healthy, happy and safe were her honored goals in life. For a short period of time Eleanor did some house cleaning on the side to bring in some extra money. When she wasn’t caring for her family Eleanor savored the word search and games in puzzle books along with doing needle point.

Eleanor is predeceased by her husband, John Hull, two children Linda and Floyd Hull, her brother Robert Haener and her sisters Anna Collier, Alice Whipple and Viola Haener. She leaves behind her daughter Bonnie Hull and her son John Hull, her brothers Julius and Albert Haener, four grandchildren: Laura, Shawn, Jenifer and Arlo, along with several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to the Ellenville Reformed Church.

A memorial service in Eleanor’s honor will be held at the Ellenville Reformed Church, 188 Canal Street Ellenville NY, on April 8, 2015 at 11 AM, the Reverend Jay Vogelaar will be officiating.
