Frances Ann Grossi

Frances Ann Grossi, of Ellenville, NY, passed peacefully at Sapphire Nursing and Rehab on Monday, October 24, 2022 in the arms of her daughter, Anne and granddaughter, Megan. She was 89 years old. Frances was born on January 15, 1933 in Brattleboro, VT; she was the daughter of Arthur Joseph and Dora Etta (Kent) Brunelle. 

Frances married Thomas Grossi on July 23, 1994 in Ellenville. He passed away on December 16, 2011. Frances was retired from Imperial Schrade after many years of service.  

Frances is survived by her daughters, Anne Schelhorn and her husband Randy of Greenfield Park, NY and Debra Gross and her husband Larry of Lakewood Ranch, FL; sister, Patricia Lewis and her husband Frank; sister/niece, Betty Brunelle;  6 grandchildren, Frank Sirico, Megan Saez, Steven Gross, Brian Gross, Monica Burris and David Gross; 8 greatgrandchildren, Emma Sirico, Liliana Guerrero, Ava Saez, Meredith, Samantha and Fletcher Gross, Amanda and Matthew Burris as well as several nieces and nephews.  

In addition to her husband, Frances was predeceased by her sisters, Shirley Weed, Mary Sprague and Margaret Clark and her brothers, Edwin Brunelle and Arthur J. Brunelle Jr. 

Frances loved animals, please consider donating to a Humane Society in her memory. 

Memorial visiting will be held on Tuesday, November 1^st from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with a celebration of her life immediately following at Loucks Funeral Home, Ellenville. Burial will take place in Fantinekill Cemetery.
