Glenn Alexander Quick

June 13, 1954 — April 14, 2015

                Glenn Alexander Quick of Ellenville passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at Kingston City Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 60.

          He was the son of the late Glenford and Irene Dunn Quick, born on June 13, 1954 in Ellenville, NY.

           Glenn was a proud graduate of Ellenville Central High School and later became a plumber at Thornton’s Hardware and Electric for the past 15 years.  A family statement reads: “Glenn (Dad) was a hard working man who would do anything for just about anyone. He fought with everything he had, and we are so proud of him for putting up that fight as long as he did. He was a loving father and grandfather who enjoyed being with his children and grandchildren. We will miss him every single day.”

          He is survived by his children Jonathon Day of Olive Bridge, NY and his wife Amanda Williams Day of Kerhonkson, Megan Ferentheil and her husband Christopher of Ellenville and Patricia Quick of Woodbourne, his grandchildren Gabbriella Morabito of Fort Polka, LA., Hannah Stanforth of Ellenville, Mia and Kylee Day of Kerhonkson and Riley Gorr of Woodbourne, his siblings Carolyn Shamro and her husband Thomas of Napanoch, Susan Waldman of Livingston Manor, Randall Quick and his wife Lucille “Candy” of Kerhonkson, Carl Quick of Malone, his sister –in-law Ruth Quick of Wawarsing and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Bruce Quick.

          Services were handled privately at the convenience of the family.
