Jean Marie Kogut

August 20, 1957 — May 24, 2015

Jean Marie Kogut of Greenfield Park, NY, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2015 at Albany Medical Center. She was 57 years old. Jean was born on August 20, 1957 in Cornwall, NY; she was the daughter of June (Danosky) Swinden and David Swinden Sr.

 

Jean worked for Imperial Schrade Corp. until its closing and most recently was the assistant manager for Canal St. Cutlery in Ellenville. Jean did extensive volunteer work for the Ellenville High School and Middle School Drama Club. Whether it was getting costumes ready, organizing the actors or setting up the scenery on stage she was always willing to help. She also enjoyed bowling with many of her friends.

 

In addition to her parents, Jean is survived by her three loving sons, Brian North and his wife, Nicole, and their children Alexandria and Benjamin;  Daniel North and his wife, Shannon, and their children Colin and Emily; Lukasz David Kogut and his father Lukasz Kogut; her sister Marcy Arfa; her brother, David Swinden Jr and his wife Cynthia; her sister-in-law Agnieszka Nadrowska; nephews: Michael Arfa, Tyler Swinden, and Jakub Nadrowski; nieces: Lily Morehouse, Amber Swinden, and Iga Nadrowska.

 

Services will be private and at the convenience of her family. The family would like to thank everyone for their love and support during this time.
