Jeanette Christiana

June 28, 1924 – November 17, 2019

Jeanette Christiana, 95, widow of Reas “Bernie” Christiana passed away at home surrounded by her family. She was a resident of Napanoch, NY for 71 years. Born in the Bronx to Walter and Mary Watson. She was predeceased by five brothers and sisters also from the Bronx.

She was a former employee of Ellenville Central School, Ellenville National Bank and Ellenville Hospital. She was a longtime member and treasurer of St. Mark‘s United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her loving family: daughters Jeanne Christiana and Katherine DePuy and son-in-law Floyd DePuy, and several nieces and nephews.

Jeanette and her family are so grateful and blessed by our loving church families of St. Mark’s and Ulster Heights United Methodist Churches and for the wonderful care she received from Hudson Valley Hospice.

Visiting will be held at St. Mark‘s United Methodist Church at 68 Clinton St. Napanoch on Thursday, November 21st from 10 to 11 AM. Funeral services will begin at 11 AM, Rev. Sejin Cha and Rev. Peggy Ann Saurhoff officiating. Followed by a graveside service at Fantinekill Cemetery.
