Joseph Louis Paone Jr.

Joseph Louis Paone Jr., known as “Joe” to so many, passed away on Monday, July 10, 2017 at Kingston City Hospital. He was 68 years old. Joe was born on May 11, 1949 in Brooklyn, NY; he was the son of Joseph L. Paone Sr. and Anna (Keller) Paone.

Joe had worked as a foreman for Imperial Schrade in Ellenville until there closing. He was a loving kindhearted man who enjoyed spending quality time with his grandchildren and watching the NY Giants on TV. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Joe is survived by his loving wife Kathleen (Irwin) Paone whom he married on May 17, 1969: their children, Joseph L. Paone III and his fiancé Jill Thompson of Woodstock, GA and Tracy Moza and her husband Thomas A. Moza III of Ellenville; his brothers, James Cathcart and his wife Helen of AZ and William Cathcart of Ellenville; his sister-in-Law, Helen Shaver of PA; three grandchildren, Zachary Moza, Dominick Moza and Jacob Peccolo as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Joe was predeceased by his brothers, George and Thomas Cathcart, Vincent Paone and his sister Theresa Paone.

Memorial visitation will be held at Loucks Funeral Home, 79 N. Main Street, Ellenville, NY from 4:00-8:00 PM on Friday, July 14th. A private service will be held for family on Saturday.
