Judith Ann Williams of Ellenville, New York, formerly known as Judith Ann Rucker of Gainesville, Georgia, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2026, in Midlothian, Virginia, surrounded by her loving family. She was 70 years old.
Born July 9,1955, in Gainesville, Georgia, to the late Thomas Williams and Eula Mae Williams Harper, Judith was a woman whose whole life was devoted to caring for others. Though she held many jobs over the years, her true occupation was always the same: taking care of others.
Judith loved everyone and never judged a soul. She was always there for her kids, grandkids, great-grandchildren, and anyone else in need. A true fighter; she battled until the very end; with strength that inspired all who knew her.
“She was our rock, our mama.”
She made everyone feel loved, appreciated, and most of all, respected.
Her faith in God was beyond this world, and we find peace in knowing she is in a better place. No more hurt. No more pain.
Judith is survived by her beloved children; her only daughter; Gari Latoya Rucker; her sons; Christopher Mangrum, Jermine Mangrum, Freddie L. Williams. She also leaves behind many cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren who were the light of her life.
Visitation will take place at Loucks Funeral Home, 79 North Main Street, Ellenville, NY 12428, on Thursday, July 9, 2026, from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM.
Rev. Dr. Mary Gunther, from Christ Ministries Baptist Church, 5 Market Street, Ellenville, NY 12428, will officiate the services at the funeral home on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at 10:30 AM.
In honoring Judith’s life of service, those who wish; may make donations in her memory to a charity of their choice, in the spirit of helping others; as Judith always did.
