Jurek Klaus Neilko

Jurek Klaus Neilko of Wurstboro, NY passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 in the comfort of his home. He was 77 years old. Jurek was born on July 15, 1945 in Laufen, Germany; he was the son of the late Nikolas and Stefania Neilko.

Jurek served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged in 1966. Jurek worked for the Teamster Union Local 807 as a truck driver for 27 years. He retired in 2001. In his downtime Jurek enjoyed hunting and being outdoors.

In addition to his parents, Jurek was predeceased by his brother, John Neilko and his sister, Mary Gatsoulis.

Surviving are his children, Anthony “Tony” Neilko and his wife Robyn and Stephanie Feola and her husband Elvio; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Natasha and Nikolas Neilko; his great granddaughter, Poppy Mae; his sisters, Anna Tsoukias and Helen Tsoukias as well as 2 nieces and 8 nephews.

Visiting will be held on Saturday, March 11^th from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. A funeral service with military honors will immediately follow at Loucks Funeral Home, Ellenville.
