Kettering, Ohio

Born Sept. 21, 1955 in Ellenville, NY, Ken was the son of the late Gerald Hook, Sr. and Frances Brown Hook.

Ken graduated from Ellenville High School and went on to receive a Master's Degree in Teaching in Peoria, Illinois. At the time of his death he was an honored teacher at Sinclair Community College in Ohio.

His survivors include siblings Darlene Hook Light, Gerald Hook, Jr. and
Jeffrey Hook, and stepfather, Jack Fritz. He also has several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Ken was predeceased by sister, Diane Hook and brother, Paul Hook, Sr.

His friend Paula, stepdaughter Katy, and girlfriend Habeebah Shafeek will be arranging a Memorial Service in Ohio for friends, co-workers and students.

 

On August 2, 2014 there will be a gathering for family and friends at Loucks Funeral Home in Ellenville from 9-10am with a celebration of his life beginning at 10am. Burial will follow in a family plot at Fantinekill Cemetery, Ellenville, N.Y.
