Linda L. Clayton

Linda L. Clayton of Greenfield Park, NY, passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at Roscoe Rehabilitation. She was 74 years old. Linda was born on March 20, 1943 at her family home in Dairyland; she was the daughter of the late Richard and Nettie (Everett) Sheley.

Linda married Frederick L. Clayton on June 4, 1961 in Ellenville. Together they enjoyed traveling to Maine, Thousand Islands and Nashville to name a few places. Linda had worked various jobs including babysitting, lawn care, home health aide and more recently a housekeeper. She loved dogs, cats, birds and flowers. Linda was also a collector of music boxes and bird plates.

In addition to her loving husband of 56 years, Linda is survived by numerous nephews and nieces.

Linda was predeceased by her sister Mary Jane Thorpe.

Visitation will be on held on Sunday, March 4th from 7 to 9 pm at Loucks Funeral Home, 79 North Main St., Ellenville NY. A celebration of her life is scheduled for Monday, March 5th at 10 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Grahamsville Rural Cemetery.
