Lisa M. Decker

It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Lisa Marie Decker on December 14, 2023. A beloved resident of Ellenville, NY, she was just 45 years old. Lisa was born on June 26, 1978 in Kingston, NY; she was the daughter of David and Patricia (Mechler) Wright.

Lisa completed her education at Ellenville High School in 1996 before pursuing higher studies at Ulster County Community College. Inspired by her father's passion for flying, Lisa followed in his footsteps and became a pilot herself.

Lisa found solace in the presence of loved ones. Her joyful moments were often spent at Cape Pond, engrossed in the warmth of a campfire's glow. She cherished weekends at the racetrack, offering unwavering support to her sons as they raced go carts.

Loved by many, Lisa's unexpected departure has left a void in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. Her memory will forever be cherished by friends, family, and all whose lives she touched.

In addition to her parents, Lisa is survived by her husband Jeromy Decker whom she married on August 16, 2018; her children, Skylar Roeber-Bernsen and her wife Serina, Korey Roeber, Tyler Decker and Jordan Decker and her in-law’s Helene and Jeff Decker.

Visiting will be held from 6:00 – 9:00pm on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at Loucks Funeral Home in Ellenville. A celebration of her life will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, December 20^th at the funeral home followed by burial at Fantinekill Cemetery.
