Maria Morales of New Jersey (formerly of Ellenville, NY) passed away on Wednesday April 12, 2023, surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Maria was born on December 7, 1950, in Ponce, Puerto Rico to Anastacio Perez and Rosario Montero. 

She was predeceased by her loving husband of 52 years Samuel Morales. Maria was also predeceased by her siblings Carmen Lamberty, Irma Robles, David Melendez, Reynel Perez, and Anastacio Perez.  

Maria is survived by her three children: Dr. Celines Morales-Ribeiro, her husband Joe, and their son Noah Ribeiro (Her Papito); Sara Diaz, her husband Omar and their two children Marilisse (Her Sweetheart) and Josiah (Her Bebe) Diaz; Samuel Morales III, his children Samuel (Her Golden child) & Elena (Her Sunshine) Morales and his partner Barbara Rose-Youmans and son Kaiden. She is also survived by her only great grandchild Amir Prince. Maria is survived by her sisters Cristina Martinez, Luisa Martinez, Anadel Lara, and several nieces and nephews, including John Martinez. Maria is also survived by her beloved dog, Corazon. He meant the world to her.  

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday May 13^th from 11am-1pm, with formal service at 12pm at Loucks Funeral Home in Ellenville, NY. Burial immediately to follow at the Fantinekill Cemetery in Ellenville, NY.
