Marjorie Anne Robinson Whetstone of Ellenville, NY passed away in the comfort of her home on Thursday, May 11, 2017. She was 80 years old. Marjorie was born on April 14, 1937 in Queens, NY; she was the daughter of the late Harry Harold Robinson and Margaret Elizabeth Bopp Robinson.
Marjorie was a proud graduate of Richmond Hills High School. She worked as a rabbit and dog breeder and owned and operated Mar-Le-Bon Kennels. She was also a member of the Women’s Democratic Club and volunteered at Family of Ellenville. She was an auctioneer and created exhibit displays at county fairs. She was known to always extend a hand to the needy. Marjorie loved Jesus and anxiously awaited her arrival to Heaven where she will dance on streets of gold in her glorified body.
She is survived by her children: Margie Carlucci Frasca (Richard Frasca) of Ellenville, Bonnie (Dwayne) Hicks of Baltimore, MD and Lisa Littlejohn (Victor) of Ellenville; her grandchildren: Jason (Teresa) Carlucci, Jaime Cathcart, Raechel Frasca, Danielle Frasca, Daina Frasca, Kaitlyn Frasca, Desarae Frasca, Sage (Edward Schoonmaker) Rudman, Adam (Lisa) Rudman, Stacia (Brent) Anderson and Aaron Rudman; her great-grandchildren: Jailyn Carlucci, Jada E. Scott, Alahna Scott, Jermaine Kilgore, Dominic Carlucci, Carmine Carlucci and Zoe Rae Schoonmaker; and her feline companion, “Boo.”
She is predeceased by her grandson, Brian “Tony” Jones, Jr. and her faithful companion, “Puff.”
Special thanks go to the many hospice workers for their tender love, care and support; and additional thanks go to Marjorie’s caregivers Michelle Lashway-Startup and Jailyn Carlucci.
