Mary Matilda Marl passed away peacefully on Saturday April 6, 2013 at Highland Rehab Center in Middletown, NY. She was 100 years old.

Daughter of the late Samuel and Elenor (Leliaert) Gunderman, she was born September 18, 1912 in East Paterson, NJ. She was the widow of her loving husband, Clyde C. Marl. Mary was a devoted wife and loving mother to all of her children as well as a wonderful home maker. The pastimes she enjoyed were bowling, pinochle, stock car racing and fishing with her family and friends. She will be dearly missed.

Survivors include her children: Audrey DePuy and her husband, Robert of Haddonfield, NJ, Clyde "Buck" Marl and his wife, Celeste of Napanoch, NY, Nancy Krom and her husband, Richard of Cragsmoor, NY; nine grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren as well as her two brothers Lawrence Gunderman of Walker Valley, NY, and Samuel Gunderman of Florida; as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is predeceased by one brother and four sisters: George Gunderman, Bea Marl, Elenor Rareigh, Rosie Lester, Gladys Shumanski and one grandson, Robert DePuy Jr.

Visitation will be held from 12 to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, April 9th at Loucks Funeral Home, 79 North Main Street, Ellenville, NY; Rev. Jay Vogelaar will officiate. Interment will follow at Fantinekill Cemetery in Ellenville.
