Marylou Stedner

After a long courageous battle, Marylou Stedner of Cragsmoor, NY has gone to a better place to be her husband, Joe on Wednesday, November 13, 2013.

Marylou was born in Ellenville to the late George Benjamin and Daisy Churchill on January 4, 1943.

Marylou was a homemaker and bartender at My Sisters Place and Bushky's. She was a member of the Cragsmoor Volunteer Fire Company Auxiliary for many years.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Sharon Greer of Walker Valley; loving son, Joe and his fiance, Jennifer Sampson, at home; loving grandson, Jimmy Greer and Tyler Leon; loving brother, Kenneth Benjamin and wife, Gerry of Florida; loving sister, Carolyn Hunt and husband, Pete, Peggy Hlavacek and husband, Lou, both of Walker Valley, Kathy Crawford and husband, Bob of South Carolina and many wonderful nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, Marylou was predeceased by her brother, George Benjamin; sisters: Betty George, Louis Houck and Barbara Stinehour.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, November 17th,  at Loucks Funeral Home, 79 North Main St., Ellenville, NY 12428. There will be a Graveside Service at 10 a.m. on Monday, November 18th at the Fantinekill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Marylou's name to the Cragsmoor Volunteer Fire Company, PO Box 155, Cragsmoor, NY 12420.
