Maxine R. Carpenter

Maxine R. Carpenter of Ellenville, NY passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at Vassar Brothers Hospital. She was 83 years old. Maxine was born on February 26, 1930 in Honesdale, PA; she was the daughter of Gram and Minnie (Deheart) Rose and the widow of Arthur W. Carpenter.

Mrs. Carpenter was a former chambermaid at the Homowack Lodge. She was a very spiritual and generous person. Maxine was also an avid reader. 

Maxine is survived by her children, Michael Carpenter and his wife Bonnie of Dillisburg, PA, Anna Carpenter and John Carpenter both of Ellenville and Dennis Carpenter of Poughkeepsie and her grandchildren, Patrick Carpenter, Jr. and Kiean Asevedo.

Visiting will be held on Wednesday, September 11^th from 10am -12pm with a celebration of her life beginning at 11:30am at Loucks Funeral Home, 79 N. Main St., Ellenville. Cremation will be private.
