Raymond Hemion Sr., 77, of Ellenville, NY, passed away on Thursday, April 18th, 2024. He was born on Sunday, December 15th, 1946, in Monsey, NY to the late George and Doris Hemion.

Raymond was a dedicated security guard for Ellenville Central Schools in Ellenville, NY. He was known for his hard work, integrity, and commitment to keeping the school community safe.

Raymond is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Ruth Mansfield Hemion, his children, Theresa Brown (Ronald), George Hemion (Debbie), and Ray Hemion Jr. (Lizzie), his grandchildren, George Hemion, Tyler Hemion, Samantha Hemion, John Bullock, Victoria Bullock, Tristen Brown, and Geoffrey Hemion, as well as three great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Jerry Hemion (Patricia) as well as many nieces and nephews.

As per Raymond's wishes, there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hudson Valley Hospice in his memory.

Arrangements are provided by Loucks Funeral Home. Raymond will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace.
