Renee Sica

Renee Sica, of Ellenville, NY, passed away on October 20, 2022. She was 62 years old. Renee was born in Philadelphia, PA; she was the daughter of Joe and Minnie (Waring) Smith. 

Renee moved to Ellenville from the Bronx. She graduated from American InterContinental University when she earned a Bachelor’s degree of Business Administration. She furthered her education at Full Sail University where she was working toward a Master’s degree in writing. 

Renee had worked as an Office Manager and Administrative Assistant in White Plains, NY. 

Renee was creative and expressed herself through writing, fashion and music. She loved Prince, Madonna, Whitney Houston, and classic movies, including a favorite, "Titanic."  She enjoyed cooking and taking walks with her husband, Robert and dog, Hans.

She is survived by her husband Robert Sica; her son, Paris Booker; brothers Joseph and Kenneth Smith; nieces Tavia, Monique and Navaeh Smith, Andrea and Arnayah Surgick, and Aaliyah Parker; nephews Taquon and Ray Parker, Darrell Spellman, cousin Brenda Looney and other relatives, including Anthony Booker Sr., Anthony Booker Jr., and Brian Booker. Renee is survived by her husband Robert's family, including mother-in-law Elizabeth Molinari, brothers-in-law Donald (Karen) Sica, Michael (Laurie) Sica and sister-in-law Betty Ann (John) Monforte.

Renee was pre-deceased by her parents; sisters Joan Smith and Thomasina Spellman; brother Ronald Smith; and father-in-law Rocco Sica.
