Rosemary Ann DeFilippi Osborn of Walker Valley, NY, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on June 12 , 2025. 

Born in Liberty, NY, she was the beloved daughter of the late Gladys and Anthony DeFilippi. She graduated from St. Peter’s School in Liberty. Rosemary spent many years working at the Concord Hotel and later as a loyal and friendly face at the Jamesway coffee shop in Napanoch, NY.

She is survived by her three daughters: Robin Andersen and her husband Drew of Napanoch, Julibeth Corwin and her husband Peter Szwed of Rhinebeck and Maria Smith and her husband Michael of Kerhonkson. Rosemary was a proud and devoted grandmother to four grandchildren—Liam and Maeve Szwed, and Sarah and Zachary Smith—as well as two cherished great-grandsons, Jason Bouyea and Wyatt Scilabro. 

Rosemary was predeceased by the love of her life, Jack Osborn. She also leaves behind her loving sisters, Fran Kurpil and her late husband Sam of Liberty, NY, and Jeannette Kurtz and her husband John of Kentucky, along with many dear nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Ethel Ippolitto and her husband Steve of Parksville, NY. 

Mom had a deep and unwavering faith in God, and deep devotion to the Virgin Mary which guided her throughout her life. She was a faithful parishioner and was proud to be a Eucharistic Minister at Our Lady of Assumption church in Bloomingburg. Her strength, kindness, and love for her family will always be remembered and forever missed.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
