Teresa Rivera

Teresa Rivera, of Wurtsboro, passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at Ellenville Regional Hospital. She was 83.

She was the daughter of the late Candelaio Alverez and Emilia Rivera, born on December 15, 1932 in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Teresa worked as a seamstress in the textile and fashion industry. She was also an active member and communicate at St. Mary’s and St. Andrew’s Church.

She is survived by her children Teresa Ramos of Ellenville, Victor Gomez of New Jersey and Angel Gomez of Puerto Rico; and one grandson Angel Gomez II of Puerto Rico.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2016 from 11 to 12noon at Loucks Funeral Home, 79 N. Main St., Ellenville, NY 12428. A funeral service will take place following the visitation at the funeral home.
