Theodore J. Ormond

Theodore J. Ormond of Ellenville, NY, passed away on Friday, January 12, 2018 at Achieve Nursing and Rehab. He was 69 years old. Theodore was born on September 13, 1948 in Lockport, NY; he was the son of the late Theodore J. and Dorothy (Parker) Ormond

Mr. Ormond was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp. having served during Vietnam. He earned the rank of Lance Corporal and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal with Device, Vietnam Service Medal with four stars, Vietnam Cross of Gallantry and a Marksman Shooting Badge. He was honorably discharged in1972. Theodore was a self employed carpenter always paying attention to details.

He is survived by his children, James, Larry, Michael, Donald and Daniel Ormond; his longtime companion, Theresa Connors; his step daughter, Rhiannon Tiger as well as 12 grandchildren.

Memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 16th from 5-7 pm with a celebration of his life and military honors beginning at 6:30 pm at Loucks Funeral Home, 79 N. Main St., Ellenville.
