Venus Paulsen

Venus Paulsen of Kerhonkson passed away on Monday, March 27, 2017, at Catskill Regional Medical Center. She was 85. She was born on April 16, 1931 in Long Island, NY.

She was a volunteer at Peoples Place in Kingston helping her local community. On her free time she enjoyed antiquing throughout the area. She will be deeply missed by everyone that knew and loved her.

She is survived by her children, Steve Paulsen of Napanoch and Robert Paulsen of Ellenville; her five grandchildren: Stephanie Paulsen, Nicholas DiConcilio, John Paulsen, Nicole Paulsen, Melanie Paulsen and Brendan Paulsen; four great grandchildren: Sivon and Victoria DiConcilio, Silias Paulsen and Dale Brenner. 

She was predeceased by her husband, Martin Paulsen and her daughter-in-law, Barbara Paulsen.

Visitation will be on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at Loucks Funeral Home, 79 North Main Street, New York 12428 from 1 to 2 p.m. There will be a funeral to follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Mary Gunther officiating.
