Wayne Trumbull

Wayne E. Trumbull of Napanoch, NY, passed away on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at Benedictine Hospital in Kingston. He was 72 years old. Wayne was born on April 12, 1940 in Bayonne, N.J., the son of G. Edward and Alice R. (Woodward) Trumbull and the widower of Rose Smith Trumbull.

Wayne graduated from Ellenville High School and furthered his education at Delhi College. He worked for various companies throughout his career including the Rondout Paper Mills Inc., Kelly Sand and Gravel and the New York State Department of Transportation in Sullivan County.

Wayne was an avid deer hunter, loved the outdoors and an enthusiastic NASCAR fan.  He was an active member of the Ellenville Elks Lodge #1971.

Wayne is survived by his companion Marian Coutant and her children, his sisters: Barbara Hembdt (George) of Napanoch, and Kathleen Loucks (Allan) of Ellenville, his brother: Paul Trumbull of Napanoch, his niece: Andrea Hemstreet (Schon), his nephews: George Hembdt, Jr. (Laura), Michael Loucks (Debbie), Christopher Hembdt (Marisol), Bain Loucks (Therese), Sean Loucks (Kacie) and Edward Trumbull, great nieces and great nephews: Lizette, Samantha (Jacob), Sarai, Madelyn, Noah, Landon and Chloe, his stepchildren: JoAnne White (George), Dianna Passante (Stephen), Rosalie Passante (John) and Joseph Rao (Katie), nine Step Grandchildren, three step great-grandchildren, cousins and many good friends.

Visiting will be held on Thursday, December 27th from 2-4 and 7-9pm at Loucks Funeral Home, 79 N. Main St., Ellenville. A service by the Elks will begin at 7:30pm. A funeral service is scheduled for Friday 10 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Fantinekill Cemetery.
