Wilton D. Sheley

August 11, 1939 — January 1, 2013

 

Wilton D. Sheley of Napanoch, NY passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2012 at Orange Regional Hospital. He was 73 years old. Wilton was born on August 11, 1939 in Kingston, NY; he was the son Wilton A. and Helen (Keator) Sheley.

 

Mr. Sheley proudly served his country in the United States Army and later transferred to the Reserves. Wilton was a member of the American Legion Cook-Taylor Post 111 and the Elks Lodge 1971. He had worked as a roll-off driver for Waste Management for several years.

 

Wilton was predeceased by his companion Gail A. Dingee, his daughter Colleen, and his brother Jack Sheley.

 

Mr. Sheley is survived by his children Douglas, Royal, Paul and BillieJo Sheley, Tina Procaccini and Kim Pulos, his sisters Lois Tompkins, Linda Gilles and Donna Coombs and his brother Paul Tinker Sheley. Also surviving are several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

 

Visiting will be held on Friday, January 4th  from 10am-12pm at Loucks Funeral Home, 79 N. Main St., Ellenville. Funeral Services will immediately follow at the funeral home. Burial will be at Fantinekill Cemetery.

 

Contributions may be made in Wilton’s name to the Ellenville First Aid and Rescue Squad, 1 Webster St., Ellenville, NY 12428.
