Jean-Marie Schwander

March 9, 1970 — June 14, 2018

Jean-Marie (Ball) Schwander, 48, of Kerhonkson, NY passed away at home on Thursday, June 14, 2018. Jean-Marie was born March 9, 1970 in Yonkers, NY to Joseph Ball  and Joann (Monachelli) Ball. She was predeceased by her father. A homemaker, she raised seven children and a grandson, but was a mother to many, many more. She received her Associate’s Degree from Ulster County Community college in Social Work. Her generous spirit and loving nature will be missed by many.

She is survived by the love of her life, Carlos “Macaco” Pereira; her mother, Joann Ball; her six sons, Michael Schwander and wife Whitney of Geneva, NY, Francisco, Joseph, Thomas, Raphael, and Timothy Pereira; a daughter, Stefanie Schwander; a grandson, Geovanni Carlew; a brother, Leonard Ball; a nephew; and several aunts and uncles.

 

Visiting will be held on Saturday, June 23rd from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm with a celebration of her life immediately following at Loucks Funeral Home, 79 N. Main St., Ellenville.

 

Burial will take place at Fairview Cemetery in Stone Ridge.
