Willabelle "Willa" Robbins

Willabelle (Willa) Robbins passed away on December 16, 2020. Born in Brooklyn, NY on September 3, 1931 to parents Grace (Steinman) and Walter Robbins.

At a young age, Willa’s family moved to Napanoch, NY. She attended Ellenville High School and shortly after graduating she went to work at Eastern Correctional Facility as the Warden’s personal secretary where she remined employed for 34 years.

Willa loved her cats. They brought her such comfort and joy in her life. She loved to travel, go to concerts, movies and restaurants. Willa is sadly missed by her family and friends.

She left behind her beloved cat Missy, her sister, Barbara (Bob) Conley; her brothers, Russell (Ann Mae), John (Shirley) as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 15th at 12pm at the Mt. Pleasant Rural Cemetery in Mt. Tremper.
